Hello, I am Craig Erskine… a UI/UX designer and frontend website developer from Green Bay, Wisconsin. I’m also a father, husband, artist, author, gaming nerd and so much more…

Some facts about me:
I use Adobe Fw for all of my web designs. Every single site that I’ve working on for the past 10 years has been either created or recreated from a PSD into a native Fw PNG source image.
In 2009 I was offered to co-write a book about Fw with five other fantastic authors. Even though the title says CS4, almost all of the concepts still apply to CS5+.
I’ve written many Fw tutorials in my past. Currently, I’m in the process or recreating all of these tutorials and presenting them as screencasts.
Other hobbies / interests:
I’m really into video games, mostly the really nerdy JRPG‘s. I even went so far as to create a fansite for Legend of Mana on PSone, which is one of my top 5 favorite games in history.
While working I use Ecoute to rock out to progressive metal music like Dream Theater, Shadow Gallery, Devin Townsend, and even DragonForce.
When I can, I like to play Soccer and Golf. Since I live in a climate that excretes winter for nine straight months every year, I also enjoy Snow Skiing.
About this site:
This website is very proudly powered by the wonderfully simple and extremely intuitive Textpattern CMS. I regularly try every new CMS, but I always find myself coming back to TXP.
The wireframing, prototyping, final design, and logo creation, doodling, tickering, etc. for this site was all lovingly crafted in Adobe Fw.
The HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding for this site was hand-typed using Coda on a Mac mini and and Apple Cinema display.
